(Yeah i know i said i wouldnt blog until 24/6)

Until im done with my social studies exam the 24th of June

Yerp, today i turned 17 and ofc. i got a couple of awesome! presents

A Samsung SyncMaster 2232BW and a logitech QuickCam 9000 pro

So now my workstation looks like this

The other day my math teacher told me about a competition in Denmark, which is the national qualification for the “World Robotics Olympiad ” and he asked me if I was interested. I of course said yes and a couple of days later me and to of my friends submitted our entry.

The competition is divided into two categories, Open and regular, the regular involves building a robot from Lego Mindstorms NXT that can move ping-pong balls and tumble-over soda cans. (you can read about the Open category on the web-page)

So if you have to build a robot, what do you need? oh yes, LEGO! - a couple of days ago I was informed the Egå Gymnasium(my high school) had bought 2 sets of Mindstorms. I felt like a little boy again

Now on to MRDS(how do they come up with such fantastic product names?). I will  tell more about this product some other time, but I just want to mention how simple it is to do quite advanced stuff.

You drag and drop some “blocks” and boom after 10 minutes I can control my robot(well its a simulation because the Lego is at my friends-house) with my Xbox 360 controller. And in theory(I will test this) I should be able to change 1 value, and this could run of the NXT

Jeg var igår til koncert på train,  for at høre Alter Brigde og som opvarmning spillede Cinder Road. Jeg havde aldrig hørt cinder road før, og må indrømme jeg ikke havde de store forventninger, men jeg(og mange andre) blev virkelig overraskede, de sparkede røv og spillede virkelig fedt!!

Efter ca. 45 minutter kom Alter Brigde på og Train kogte! der var en hel del hardcore AB fans og der blev skrålet med på alt!

Det var en fantastisk koncert, og der blev Moshpittet en del. Under koncerten fik jeg knuckled Miles Kennedy og efter koncerten fik jeg givet hånd til dem alle. Jeg fik desuden fat i en et plektre

Jeg vil klart anbefale alle at tjekke de to bands ud, de er for fede - og hey, AB spiller den 17/11 i KBH - ses vi?

Så har jeg endnu engang lagt en blog op, og jeg håber jeg kan få postet indhold til den
